News Beaver Wins at The AutoBahn

Crispin Andrew Beaver notched another pair of wins at The Autobahn of Joliet, Illinois last weekend in the latest round of competition in the NASA racing series. The team left the shop at 630am on Friday after working to fine tune the car all week long.

The Tynis Concrete/Royal Purple/Mac's Mazda RX7 unloaded off the truck with a good setup, claiming third quick time in the morning warm up and qualifying fastest among the Super Unlimited class. He scored a class win in the forty-minute race and most importantly, preserved the car for the second half of the weekend doubleheader.

The team needed only six laps of practice the next morning to determine that the car was quick and reliable. His qualifying time of 1:33.483 was the fastest in the field regardless of class, and Crispin once again took home a Super Unlimited victory to strengthen his hold on the NASA road racing points lead.

Crispin takes to the track again at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on August 4th and 5th.
