Well, the 2009 season is now just around the corner. Crispin will be joining SCCA and be in the runoffs. He will also be in a few NASA races and the Teen Mazda Challenge again.

Crispin had hoped to run in the Volkswagen Jetta series as well, which will be held January 1rst, 2009. Unfortunately, it’s required that you be sixteen or older, and since he won’t be sixteen till March, that will have to wait till next year. He also has to have a street drivers license before he can get a SCCA license, so Crispin will not be participating in their races till March. If Crispin gets approved, it looks like the first race will be at Gateway International (SCCA).

Crispin and his crew chief have purchased another Spec Miata from Sam Henry of Springfield Dyno for the season, but will bring the other one to the races for back up as well. They’re currently working on both cars in preparation for the season.
